WINTER PARK, Colo. — One person remains unaccounted for after a large fire broke out at a condominium in Winter Park Monday morning.
Firefighters from multiple agencies responded to the Braidwood Condominiums in Winter Park early this morning.
The fire was under control as of 7:45 a.m. The East Grand Fire Department said it used 75,000 gallons of water to quiet the blaze.
The department said the fire started around 3 a.m., but the cause is still under investigation.
One resident is unaccounted for, according to the fire department. Another person was able to get out of the building and call 911.
The building has 12 units and two were occupied. The entire building is heavily damaged, the fire department said, particularly the condos on the end. The roof is almost completely gone.
