DENVER – King Soopers and City Market grocery stores are holding hiring events this weekend as they aim to hire hundreds of new employees in Colorado.
A spokesman said Friday that Kroger, the parent company of King Soopers and City Market, plans to fill approximately 600 open positions across the state. The new hires are part of an announcement earlier this week that Kroger aims to hire 11,000 people nationwide.
Many of the open positions are hourly clerk and associate positions but about 50 are executive positions.
King Soopers and City Market will be holding hiring events at all their stores on Saturday, April 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
