DENVER – A juvenile was shot at a house party in Denver overnight Saturday, but he is expected to survive, police said.

The shooting happened in the 3100 block of West Gill Place in Denver's Westwood neighborhood.

Police tweeted shortly after 2 a.m. that officers were investigating the shooting. The victim was taken to a hospital.

Shots were fired from outside of the house, police said, but more information about the shooting wasn't available Sunday morning. Another juvenile at the scene was detained by police but no arrests were made.
