AURORA, Colo. — One juvenile was injured in a shooting in Aurora late Tuesday evening.
On Wednesday evening, the Aurora Police Department announced it had started to investigate a shooting that took place around 9 p.m. The location of the shooting wasn't clear, but police said it may have taken place at the Maverick Store located at 13480 E. Mississippi Ave. or around E. Alameda Avenue and S. Peoria Street.
One juvenile was injured in the shooting and walked into a local emergency room on his own accord, police said. He is expected to survive his injury.
As of midnight, police had not released any information on a suspect.
