DENVER -- Home tour aficionados can choose between eight spectacular, historic homes in the Potter Highlands neighborhood today.

The Jewel of the Highlands Tour will run from noon to 4 p.m., October 1.

Tickets are $30.

The proceeds will benefit Skinner Middle School.

According to the Tour’s website,  guests will experience historic homes never before open to the public.

The tour includes an exquisite two-story Victorian with an outstanding, period-sensitive addition, a grand two-story Craftsman Bungalow and a hard-hat tour of the Bosler Mansion on Highland Park.

One of the architects who worked on the $35 million 2010-11 renovation will lead a tour of North High School’s 1911 grand building.

Tickets can be purchased on the day of the tour, at North High School, 2960 N. Speer Blvd.
