CASTLE PINES, Colo. — The northbound lanes of Interstate 25 by Castle Pines reopened Thursday morning after a crash closed the interstate for about an hour and a half.
Trooper Gary Cutler, public information officer with Colorado State Patrol, said six vehicles may have been involved in the crash, which occurred at 4:49 a.m. Thursday near exit 188/Castle Pines Parkway.
He did not release information on injuries.
Medical personnel and tow trucks were called to the scene. The northbound lanes reopened at 6:30 a.m., with crash cleanup continuing on the right side of the interstate.
Denver7's Jayson Luber recommended the following detour: Take the east side frontage road between Castle Pines Parkway and RidgeGate. Or, you can take Castle Pines Parkway west to Monarch. Turn right (north) all the way past Rock Canyon High into Highlands Ranch and to Lincoln Avenue. Stay either east (right) to I-25 or stay north on Quebec to C-470.
