ADAMS COUNTY -- An infant's death sparked an investigation Monday morning when police responded to a motel in the Denver metro area.
Sheriff's deputies with the Adams County Sheriff's Office were on scene at the Primrose Motel Monday before 11 a.m. to conduct a death investigation.
Few details were available early Monday, but police confirmed the infant was a 6-month-old girl.
Police tell Denver7 the parents of the infant are currently cooperating, but the death is being investigated -- per standard protocol -- as a homicide.
