DENVER — In-N-Out Burger is one step closer to building its first restaurant in Colorado.

The company announced on Friday that it had closed on the purchase of two parcels of land in the Victory Ridge development at Interquest Parkway and Federal Boulevard in Colorado Springs.

The popular California-based burger chain first announced plans to establish a presence in Colorado in 2017.

In the first phase of development, In-N-Out will build a 97,900-square-foot distribution facility on the site. A 150,000-square-foot office building and a 4,772-square-foot restaurant will follow after that.

An opening date for the first Colorado In-N-Out Burger has not yet been announced.
