DENVER — Northbound Interstate 25 into downtown Denver was reduced to just one lane Wednesday morning after a crash near the University Boulevard exit.

By 7 a.m., the highway was reopened and traffic was beginning to improve.

Multiple vehicles were involved in the crash, which was reported about 6 a.m. At 6:30 a.m., just one lane was getting by, while the four right lanes remained closed.

Tow trucks and an ambulance were on the scene of the crash about 6:30 a.m. and delays on the highway were already reaching 30 minutes. Denver police said no serious injuries were involved in the crash but that delays should be expected in the area.
