A home invasion forced investigators to close part of Highway 24 in El Paso County Sunday.

All seven victims made it out of the house near Highway 24 and Ute Pass Avenue safely, the sheriff's office told our partners at KRDO.

One suspect was taken to a hospital. There is no information about that suspect's injuries.

Another suspect barricaded himself inside the home.

Highway 24 was closed from Green Mountain Falls to the Cave of the winds while the SWAT team negotiated with the suspect.

SWAT cleared the home and the highway reopened just before 3 p.m.
