Highway 14 closed due to fire near Walden

JACKSON COUNTY, Colo. -- Highway 14 has been closed in northern Colorado because of a fire.

Highway 14 is closed approximately 10 miles southwest of Walden, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

CDOT said there is no estimated time for reopening.

This fire is burning about 35 miles from the Beaver Creek Fire that started back in June. That fire burned 38,000 acres north of Walden.

There is no information yet on the cause of this new fire.
