DENVER – The hair metal band that dominated the FM airwaves (and many of our tape collections) in the 80s is here in Denver!

Guns N’ Roses will be rocking Sports Authority Field at Mile High Wednesday night as part of the band’s Not In This Lifetime Tour, and tickets are still available

Axl Rose, Slash and the gang returned to touring in 2016 after more than 20 years, and have been selling out arenas across North America and the world as they make their way to Denver.

Loyal fans of the legendary band will get to experience all of the headbanging glory beginning at 6 p.m. at the Broncos stadium.

Here’s is what you need to know about tonight’s show:

PARKING
The city is reminding concert goers to be mindful of parking restrictions around the stadium and surrounding neighborhoods.

On street parking
Posted signs in the stadium area restrict parking to vehicles with the correct residential parking permit posted in the window from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Stadium parking
There will be handicap placard enforcement for all handicap parking lots on-site at the stadium. Anyone who would like to park in these lots will be asked to show proof of their handicap placard registration before they will be allowed to enter.

Off-street parking (parking lots)
Drivers should also be cautious when utilizing a parking lot in the area.

If you are not parking in one of the parking lots on stadium property, choose only those locations that 1) display a special event parking sign issued by the City & County of Denver, or 2) are existing approved parking lots clearly managed by reputable companies.

GETTING THERE
Light Rail Lines W, C, and E serve the station closest to Sports Authority Field. Fans may also take the D or H lines and transfer to the C or E lines at I-25 & Broadway, Alameda, or 10th & Osage stations. Purchase a round-trip ticket at your initial boarding station to avoid delays after the show.

ITEMS PERMITTED
Only clear bags are allowed in the stadium. No other bags are allowed, including purses, backpacks, coolers, camera bags, diaper bags, clinches or binocular bags.
