A Colorado group is changing its strategy when it comes to adding alcohol to more stores.
A spokesperson for Your Choice Colorado tells Denver7 that after speaking to voters, the group will only effort getting the sale of full-strength beer and wine in supermarkets.
Originally, the hope was to add liquor, as well.
The group wants the bill on the November ballot.
By tweaking the bill, proponents say Colorado will have more choices, and small businesses will have a stronger chance.
People who disagreed with the bill said small businesses would suffer if alcohol laws expanded.
