Group of teens attacked victim with scooter, kicked him, witness tells Northglenn police

NORTHGLENN, Colo. – A witness told Northglenn police that a group of teenagers chased down and attacked a male victim with a skateboard and a scooter, leaving the victim unconscious Friday night.

Police were still investigating the attack on Saturday.

Officers were dispatched about 7:45 p.m. Friday to the 500 block of East 120th Avenue on a report of an assault. When they arrived, they found the victim unconscious on the ground, police said in a news release.

The witness told officers that 7-12 boys in their early teens chased the victim and surrounded him, hitting him with a scooter and a skateboard and then kicking him several times.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where he remained in serious condition Saturday.
