Area grocery stores are reporting an increase in customers pre-Super Bowl 50.

King Soopers in downtown Denver saw an estimated 100 extra customers Saturday, according to a manager.

It's estimated the Super Bowl will be watched by 186 million people. Many of whom will be eating game food.

Customers were out in force at the store picking up everything from chicken wings to Orange Crush soda.

"You know, it's getting hectic out there, It's kind of like Christmas time, you're out there getting last minute things," said Bryce Cornejo, who was preparing for a Super Bowl party.

The grocery store had Broncos themed cupcakes, flowers and even orange colored bread.
