GREELEY, Colo. — The Greeley Police Department is searching for a 4-year-old girl who has been missing since Friday morning.
Police said the girl — whose name Denver7 removed after she was found — was last seen near the 2500 block of 49th Avenue in Greeley Friday morning. Police originally said she hadn't been seen since 8:45 a.m., but the Colorado Bureau of Investigation said she was last seen around 8:15 a.m. An endangered and missing persons report was issued for her around 12:30 p.m.
Greeley police said they are actively searching the area around 49th Avenue.
She was last seen wearing a light blue, long-sleeved shirt with dots on it, light blue pants and purple and pink Crocs. She is 3 feet, 6 inches tall and has long blonde hair.
Greeley police said they do not believe she ran away from home, but may have wandered away. They also said they do not believe anybody kidnapped her.
As of now, this is not an Amber Alert, police said.
Police have asked anybody who sees her to call 911.
This is a developing story. Denver7 is working to learn more.
