Grand Junction middle school student struck by Jeep

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - A 12-year-old boy walking to school suffered a broken leg after being struck by a vehicle in Grand Junction Monday morning.

Grand Junction Police told Denver7 sister station KJCT-TV that the boy was walking across a busy intersection on his way to West Middle School when the driver of a Jeep struck the boy.

Police did not say who was at fault but said sun glare played a factor in the in the incident.

No arrests have been made as of yet, although the case is under investigation.
