A car stolen in Denver with a child inside has been located.
The gold Subaru was reported stolen from West 44th Avenue and Clay Street Sunday afternoon.
Officers found the car and the child about an hour after the search began, in an alley in the 3700 block of Quivas Street.
Paramedics did an examination and say the child is okay.
Police haven't said who took off in the SUV. The child's father reports he stepped out of the car, with it running, and then heard the door slam and saw the vehicle pull away.
