Authorities are still looking for a suspect in a hit-and-run collision on Interstate 70 that left a Glenwood Springs man dead.
The Post Independent reports that the Colorado State Patrol says 20-year-old Gavin Brouillette died Wednesday after being struck by another driver in Glenwood Canyon.
The patrol says Brouillette had been heading east in a 1995 Honda Accord when he went off the side of the road and struck a guardrail. Brouillette got out of his car and then was hit by the driver of another vehicle, who left the scene.
Authorities have not been able to locate the other driver or identify their vehicle. They say it's possible the driver was unaware that they struck a person.
