2:09 p.m. — The Pitkin County Sheriff's Office says the gas leak at Snowmass Village has been stopped and it's safe to return to the base village properties.
10:52 a.m. — Black Hills Energy is estimating the gas leak should be fixed around 2 p.m.
9:28 a.m. — Snowmass Village base properties are being told to evacuate because of a gas leak. According to Pitkin Emergency Alert, east side residents in Limelight and Building 7 areas are to head east to the Viceroy hotel and those on the west side of the village, near Tamarack and Lichenhearth, are to head uphill on Carriage Way. People are being told not to start cars in the parking garage.
