4:54 p.m.: The city of Glenwood Springs says the westbound lanes have reopened after the crash. The eastbound lanes remain closed.

4:23 p.m.: Interstate 70 was shut down in both directions around 4 p.m. due to a crash involving a semi-truck that went off one side of the interstate onto the other.

CDOT says a "major closure" should be expected on both directions of the interstate between CO 82 (Glenwood Canyon) and Exit 133 (Dotsero).

4:47 a.m. — Eastbound I-70 has reopened following a semi crash. According to Colorado State Patrol, no one was seriously injured.


12:10 a.m. — Two people escaped uninjured from a house fire in southwest Denver. Photographer Daryl Orr said the majority of the damage appeared to be in the inside the home.


11:22 p.m. (Monday) — Denver police confirm a pedestrian was hit and killed on southbound I-25 south of 23rd Avenue near Broncos Stadium at Mile High. Southbound lanes of I-25 were closed for nearly two hours while police investigated.


11:11 p.m. — Police responded to a shooting overnight at 49th Avenue and Steele Street in Denver's Elyria-Swansea neighborhood. A tweet from police says the victim is in critical condition. There is currently no information on a shooter or shooters.


10:57 p.m. — Denver police confirm a pedestrian has been hit and killed at the intersection of 52nd Avenue and Federal near Regis University. Denver7 has done previous reporting on the dangers of that particular intersection and that stretch of Federal Boulevard. The city of Denver says Federal Boulevard is one of the most deadly stretches of urban roadway in the state of Colorado. 

According to city records, In 2017, 11 people died in crashes along Federal, including 7 pedestrians. The rate of fatalities on Federal is currently 20 times higher than the urban rate on Colorado roadways.
