6:55 p.m.: Lakewood police have released more information about the police activity in the area of W. Colfax Ave. and Sheridan Blvd. 

5:25 p.m.: Lakewood police says W. 14th Ave. is closed at Benton and Chase Streets as they investigate this shooting.   

5:15 p.m.: Lakewood police is asking residents to avoid the area of W. Colfax Ave. and Sheridan Bvld. ​​​​​​Per a dispatch spokesperson, this is a shooting and two people are in custody. One person was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. 

5:12 a.m. —Colorado State Patrol now says semi that crashed into bridge on E470 at east 64th Avenue was hauling drywall. Southbound lanes remain closed.

4:30 a.m. — Southbound lanes of E470 are closed at 64th Avenue after a semi hauling gravel hit and damage the bridge. This happened around 3 a.m. Two people transported to the hospital with unknown extent of injuries. The Colorado State Patrol does not have an estimate on when the Tollway will reopen. 

3 a.m. — Leyden Street closed between east 28th and 26th Avenues for a water main break. 14 homes without water as crews work to repair the damage. 

2 a.m. — Denver Police investigating a shooting that left one person injured at an apartment near East Iliff Avenue and South Dayton Street.
