12:30 p.m. — North Metro Fire tweeted that a small aircraft crashed in the park area of Anthem Ranch around noon today. Two people died in the crash. The NTSB has been called in to investigate.

12:02 p.m. — Aurora police said they are looking for a possibly armed person in Rangeview High School. Police said nobody is injured and no shots were fired. A suspect has not been found yet. Police are looking for the below suspect. 

11:55 a.m. — Police at the scene at Rangeview High School say that there has not been a shooting, but a student brought a gun to school. Authorities are looking for it now. Students who were outside at the time were taken by officers to the King Soopers parking lot at E. Iliff Ave. and S. Buckley Road, according to Aurora Public Schools. The building is not being evacuated. 

11:33 a.m. — Aurora police are investigating a threat at Rangeview High School. The school is on lockdown as of 11:22 a.m. All parents of Rangeview students should meet with Aurora police officers and evacuated students at the King Soopers parking lot at E. Iliff Ave. and S. Buckley Road, police said. Mrachek Middle School and Vassar Elementary School are on secure perimeter status.
