4:33 p.m.: Xcel Energy says the line involved in the gas leak in the Murphy Creek neighborhood belongs to another gas pipeline company.
4:28 p.m.: A gas leak in Aurora has prompted authorities to issue a shelter in place order to some residents in the Murphy Creek subdivision. The leak was reported around 3 p.m. near East Jewell Avenue and South Gun Club Road. There are no reports of an explosion or fire.
Aurora Fire Rescue responded to a gas leak in the area north of the Murphy Creek neighborhood. A shelter in place notice was issued to some nearby residents. That means that people should remain or go indoors if they received this message.
