11:58 a.m. — Todd Hartman with Denver Water said it should take eight to 10 hours to clean up the water main break at 47th Avenue and Washington Street. He was not sure how much water spilled out of the sinkhole. The cause is also unknown.
10:50 a.m. — Denver police said authorities are responding to a water main break at 47th Avenue and Washington Street. The intersection has closed. Police are advising drivers to use alternative routes.
