For those heading up the I-70 Mtn Corridor, make sure you have the following BEFORE you head up: full tank of gas, snacks, water, blanket, chains and tires with at least 1/8” of tread (should cover top of George Washington’s head).

Safety closures are to help stop spinouts and crashes as well as to clean up existing spunout vehicles. These closures must go into place to help keep the public safe (as well as 1st responders) and keep the interstate from closing for an even longer amount of time.
