8:30 a.m. — The Eagle County Sheriff's Office said they have confirmed an earthquake rocked an area near Gypsum Tuesday morning. It was a 2.7-magnitude quake and was reported about 2.5 miles south of Gypsum. There were no reports of damage or injuries, according to the sheriff's office.
5:36 a.m. — Denver police responded to the 3700 block of Globeville Road — in a train yard — after a person was struck by a train at 2:41 a.m. The person was transported to a local hospital with serious bodily injuries, police said.
