9:13 p.m.: At least one person has been confirmed dead in a "high speed impact" plane crash west of Parker in Douglas County Friday night, according to South Metro Fire Rescue firefighters at the scene.

9:03 p.m.: South Metro firefighters say the aircraft involved in the crash in Douglas County is a Sr22 Cirrus plane. Firefighters are searching the area for survivors.

8:43 p.m.: A plane has crashed in Douglas County, with debris striking at least one home in the area of 11083 Pastel Pt., South Metro Fire Rescue firefighters say. Parker Police is sending units to help first responders.
