6:05 a.m. — A transformer exploded near Sherman and 17th Avenue. Sherman is shut down between 17th Avenue and 18th Avenue.

4:25 a.m. — There is a large police presence at Josephine Street and E. 4th Avenue in Denver. The police department said it is assisting Adams County Sheriff's Office deputies. The sheriff's office said this was a chase that started in that county and ended in Denver around 12:30 a.m. The road is closed. DPD says is could stay closed throughout the morning since several jurisdictions are involved in an investigation. No other details were released. It is not clear if this is connected t the Colorado Boulevard incident. (UPDATE: Read full story here)

4 a.m. — Denver police officers were involved in pursuing a wanted person after a suspect vehicle crashed in the 3800 block of Colorado Boulevard around 12:15 a.m. One person was transported with injuries and another person was in custody. The road was closed from 3400 to 4000 on Colorado Boulevard, and reopened around 5 a.m.
