3:56 p.m. — A 45-year-old paraglider was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries after dropping about 200 feet near C-470 and Alameda. The fall was due to erratic winds, according to West Metro Fire Rescue.
1:02 p.m. — Denver police said the officer did not need to be transported to a hospital. They did not release which agency the officer worked for. The driver, who fled from the scene, was found and is in custody.
12:37 p.m. — Police said the officer who was hit has minor injuries and is a bike cop.
12:13 p.m. — The Denver Police Department is helping Auraria Campus Police investigate a report that an officer was run over by 8th Avenue and Walnut Street, which is on the campus grounds. The campus police said they are responding to a call of this nature, but could not confirm anything else. Police are currently searching for a suspect vehicle.
