Hwy 96 between Wetmore and Westcliffe is CLOSED due to flooding. Flood water has washed cars off the road and washed out the Hwy. No injuries reported at this time.
Alternate route is Hwy 69 through Texas Creek.

12:41 p.m.: Police say four people were injured in a shooting in the area of 50th Avenue and Grant Street. They suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Shooting Update: Shooting was the result of an altercation at a party in the area. There were 4 victims total, none of whom suffered life-threatening injuries. There is no suspect information available at this time.

11:40 a.m.: Lakewood police say a man is dead from a self-inflicted injury following an hours-long standoff in the 733 block of W. Kentucky Drive.
