8:48 a.m. — Boulder police are investigating a stabbing along the 1400 block of Kalmia Avenue. A suspect is in custody. Police said the person who was stabbed and the suspect know each other. Boulder police spokeswoman Shannon Aulabaugh said a person in a home on that block called 911 around 7:49 a.m. Denver7 is working to learn more.

7:10 a.m. — A crash is causing major traffic jams for drivers trying to get onto 225 in Aurora. The crash occurred in the westbound lanes of Iliff at Sable. Denver7's Jayson Luber recommends taking Jewell to Abilene or Yale to Blackhawk instead. The westbound lanes of Iliff are down to one lane.

6:19 a.m. — Simon Crittle with Denver Health Medical Center said there was no patients inside the ambulance at the time of the crash in Aurora. The two crew members inside had minor injuries. Two people who were inside the SUV that was involved were transported to the hospital. Authorities have not released the extent of their injuries. Read the rest of this story here.

5:55 a.m. — The southbound lanes of Peoria Street at E. 30th Avenue in Aurora are shut down due to a traffic crash involving an ambulance. Aurora police are asking drivers to avoid the area and expect delays. Police have not released information on injuries or when the street will reopen. The R Line is still running.
