5:38 p.m.: US 285 is closed from Fairplay to Kenosha Pass due to blowing snow, zero visibility, icy roads and multiple crash, CSP officials in Canon City say.

2:04 p.m.: The Denver Police Department says two officers were injured after shots fired in the area of 6th Ave. and Inca St. The officers were taken to a hospital "with good prognoses." They ask that you avoid the areas around 6th Ave., 7th Ave., Santa Fe Drive. and Galapago.

1:58 p.m.: Denver7 reporter Meghan Lopez is also reporting officers are shutting down parts of the streets near 6th Ave. and Inca.

1:50 p.m.: Denver7 reporter Tomas Hoppough reports DPD officers are closing down streets near 6th and Inca.

1:45 p.m.: A Denver7 city camera on 6th Ave. shows a heavy police presence in the area of 6th Ave. and Inca St.
