7:03 p.m. — A total of 49 vehicles were involved in the crash at inbound Peña Blvd. just north of 56th Ave., Denver police say. A total of 17 people were injured, three of which were treated and released at the scene. No citations will be issued. 5:52 p.m. — Police say 14 people have been taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following a 30-car pileup at inbound Peña Blvd. just north of 56th Ave. It's unclear at this point when the roads will reopen.
UPDATE: 14 people have been transported to the hospital with what appears to be non-life threatening injuries. Officers are working hard to get inbound Peña opened as soon as possible. No timeframe available at this time.

5:12 p.m. — Approximately 30 vehicles were involved in a crash at inbound Peña Blvd. just north of 56th Ave. Two people were taken to a hospital "with what appears to be non-life-threatening injuries." Inbound Peña is closed and alternate routes are advised. Expect delays heading to the airport.

2:41 p.m. — A safety closure is in place on S Highway 285 from Fairplay to Antero Junction, the CSP - Canon City division says. Use Highway 9 South out of Fairplay to Highway 24 as a detour. You are asked to avoid the area as there have been numerous slide offs and crashes reported south of Fairplay due to adverse conditions.
