10:01 a.m. — The intersection of Perry Street and 5th Street has reopened after a car vs. bus crash this morning in Castle Rock. 

9:22 a.m. — Both southbound lanes of I-25 are no open following a morning crash. Trooper Gary Cutler with Colorado State Patrol said a black SUV collided with a semi in the construction zone in that area.

8:54 a.m. — One lane has reopened on south I-25 between Exit 181/Plum Creek Parkway and Exit 174/Tomah Road after a crash. 

8:40 a.m. — Sara Spaulding, communications manager with the Wheat Ridge Police Department, said a car crashed into a Taco Bell Friday shortly before 8 a.m. She said the female driver appeared to have had a medical emergency. The driver ran a red light at an off-ramp and crashed into the Taco Bell at 3050 Youngield Street. The driver was transported to the hospital and is expected to survive. Structural engineers are checking on the safety of the building.

8:10 a.m. — The southbound lanes of I-25 are closed between Exit 181/Plum Creek Parkway and Exit 174/Tomah Road. Both lanes are blocked. Authorities say the closure is caused by a SUV vs. semi crash. A male has serious injuries. 

7:50 a.m. — A vehicle collided with a Colorado Early College bus around 6:54 a.m. in Castle Rock, according to Joe Cybert with the Castle Rock Police Department. The driver of the vehicle was transported to a hospital with serious injuries. Nobody on the bus was injured. The intersection of Perry Street and 5th Street should remain closed until 9 a.m. Authorities are asking drivers to use alternative routes.
