12:38 p.m. — Police said they received the call for a water rescue at a Longmont pond around 11:20 a.m. The pond is 10-20 feet deep. They learned an adult and juvenile fell through the ice and were able to make it to an island. When the fire department arrived at the scene, they pushed an inflatable boat into the ice and rescued the two people. Neither were injured, but they were wet and cold, police said.

11:44 a.m. — Longmont police said the department is working a water rescue at Golden Ponds park at 2651 3rd Ave. There are four ponds in the park and a river. We are working to learn more.
