6:39 a.m. — All roads have reopened after a crash involving a bicyclist in Commerce City on Vasquez Boulevard.

6:10 a.m. — The southbound lanes of Vasquez Boulevard in Commerce City are closed from E. 72nd Avenue to E. 69th Avenue for a crash that occurred at 4:22 a.m. involving a bicyclist. Authorities in Adams County and Commerce City, along with South Adams Fire, are investigating the crash. While most drivers are using the Brighton Boulevard frontage road as an alternative route, Denver7's Jayson Luber recommends using Colorado Boulevard to E. 60th Avenue or E. 72nd Avenue, to Monaco, then south to E. 60th Avenue.

Southbound Highway 85 will stay closed at E. 72nd Avenue for about three hours.

The male bicyclist was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, police said. Driver impairment does not appear to be a factor.
