1. Devastating flooding continues in Houston
The Houston metro area continues to deal with widespread flooding and there's no relief in sight, as more rain is expected over the next several days. Here's how you can help those affected.

2. Free job fair in Denver
Coast-to-Coast Career Fairs is holding a free job fair at the Cherry Creek Holiday Inn. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with jobs in a variety of fields, including marketing, law enforcement, accounting, banking and more. Click here for more info.

3. School employees accused of sex crimes in court
A Grandview High School security guard facing child sex assault charges is expected to be in court this morning, as is a Prairie Middle School teacher accused of sexual assaulting several students

4. Ozone alert today
Hot weather means there will be elevated levels of ground-level ozone in the Denver metro area today. Officials have issued an alert through 4 p.m., which means those who are sensitive to air quality should try to stay inside. Officials also urge everyone to try to cut down on emissions.

5. Summer-like weather all week
High temperatures will be in the high 80s and low 90s all week. The earliest snowfall in Denver occurred in early September but summer isn't showing any signs of letting up just yet.
