DENVER – Good morning! Here’s what you need to know today, Monday, July 31.

1. Could the Overland Golf Course becoming a stage for a music festival? 

A resolution will go before Denver City Council asking them to approve a multi-year festival agreement between the city and county and Denver Festivals, LLC for the use of Overland Golf Course for a multi-day, multi-stage music festival. 

2. Celebrate Colorado's 141st birthday with a free doughnut

In celebration of Colorado's 141st birthday, Dunkin' Donuts will once again offer guests a FREE Colorado-themed donut with the purchase of any size Cold Brew coffee. This offer is valid at all participating Dunkin' Donuts restaurants in Colorado.  

3. Third annual Colorado Tech Week begins

To celebrate Colorado Tech Week, proclaimed by Governor John Hickenlooper as July 31 - August 4, 2017, Tech Tour will recognize and tell the stories of innovative leaders and companies transforming Colorado into an internationally renowned tech hub. 

4. DMV office delays possible this Monday

If you’re planning on getting that driver’s license or ID card at the DMV office, you better rearrange your schedule a bit. Colorado DMV officials warned customers to be prepared for possible service delays on Monday, July 31.

5. Partial closure of RTD's A-Line 

Beginning as early as 8:30 a.m. on Monday, July 31, the Regional Transportation District's (RTD) contractor for the University of Colorado A Line Denver Transit Partners (DTP), will close all lanes of Quebec Street between Smith Road and Sandown for potholing and boring work.
