WINTER PARK, Colo. – The town of Winter Park has a new outdoor concert venue, and town officials are putting on a free concert Thursday to mark its opening.
Construction on the 2,600 square-foot Hideaway Park Stage, which features a distinctive white canopy designed to emulate snow drifts, was recently completed. It was designed by Semple Brown.
The concrete and stone structure, located in downtown Winter Park, also includes a climate-controlled green room that opens onto a backstage plaza.
Big Head Todd & The Monsters will play a free concert Thursday from 6-8 p.m. as part of a ribbon-cutting celebration.
