FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Police in Fort Collins are asking for the public’s help finding the rightful owner or owners of some stolen items that were discovered during an arrest.
Police said the property includes military hats and cremated remains and were likely stolen in the past three months in either Fort Collins or Loveland.
The hats bear insignia from Montana, including one for VFW Post 1087, located in Great Falls.
The box of cremated remains lists George A. Smith as the name of the deceased and what appears to be “Chapel of Chimes” as the funeral service provider.
