SAN DIEGO -- A flash of light raced across the sky in an arc in San Diego, but it didn't look like any form of lightning.
The phenomenon, which was captured on a dash camera in California, has baffled the National Weather Service which couldn't explain the light.
The light travels across the sky in a downwards arc, fizzling out at points, then re-igniting before finally disappearing on the horizon or on the ground.
Nobody has come forward with any debris found on the ground.
