3. Denver-area rents continue to rise
Overall, the cost of renting in Denver rose 1.2 percent last month. The median price for a 1-bedroom rental is now $1,060 and a 2-bedroom runs $1,350. Compared to the same time last year, rents are up 2.7 percent.
4. Great American Beer Festival tickets go on sale
Tickets for the annual Great American Beer Festival go on pre-sale Tuesday (available to members of the American Homebrewers Association or Brewers Association). General public ticket sales start Wednesday.
