DENVER — Have you experienced a First Fridays event?
On the first Friday of the month, several art districts across Colorado open their galleries, studios, restaurants and shops late in the evening.
In the RiNo Art District in Denver, many businesses will be open from 6 to 9 p.m.
"We coined the phrase, 'Where art is made' because this is where artists are working; this is their studios," said Tracy Weil, the co-founder and creative director for the RiNo Art District. "[The artists] show you what processes are, what they do, how they do it."
