DENVER — Millions of Coloradans will watch or partake in fireworks celebrations on Independence Day, and Denver7 has rounded up each public show we could possibly find. 

Find your town in the list below:

ALAMOSA — Tuesday, July 4: 

Celebrate our country’s independence in the friendly town of Alamosa. This patriotic celebration starts with a Kiwanis pancake breakfast followed by a Main Street parade. Alamosa Fairgrounds will host fireworks at dusk.

ARVADA — Tuesday, July 4:

Join Arvada between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. at the Lutz Ballfield and Stenger Sports Complex, Entry at 58th Avenue and Oak Street, Arvada, CO. Come for the food and stay for the fireworks that end the evening!

ASPEN — Tuesday, July 4: 

Join Aspen for racing, bike decorating, a carinval, a parade, a picnic, a free concert (4 p.m. on the corner of Garmisch and Cooper Ave),  a community dance at 9:15 p.m. fireworks over Aspen Mountain.

AURORA — Tuesday, July 4:

Join Aurora at the Aurora Municipal Center  for musical entertainment starting at 6 p.m., with a fireworks show capping off the night at 9:30 p.m.

Join Avon for food, friends and fun. A small carnival will be in town ahead of musical entertainment and fireworks:

Join Beaver Creek for an independence celebration that ranges from 9:30 a.m. through 9:30 p.m. Live music will continue along with food from 2 p.m. through 8:15 p.m. Fireworks cap off the evening at 9:30 p.m.

There will be no public fireworks in Bennett in 2017.

BLACK HAWK — Tuesday, July 4:

Black Hawk will present a "BoomTown" experience with fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

BOULDER — Tuesday, July 4:

Fireworks begin during the "Ralphie's Independence Day Blast" starting at 9:40 p.m. Gates open at 8 p.m., and admission is free!

BRECKENRIDGE — Tuesday, July 4:

A fireworks show at 9:45 p.m. in Breckenridge is just one of a host of activities, including a 10k run, bike race, garden party and parade. Learn more about the festivities here.

A celebration will kick off for the 4th of July at 4 p.m. in Brighton, lasting through fireworks at 9:45 p.m. at Carmichael Park.

BUENA VISTA — Tuesday, July 4:

Prepare for an all day celebration including a pancake breakfast, 5k, parade and 9 p.m. fireworks show.

BYERS - Tuesday, July 4:

Head over to downtown Byers for a 7 a.m. Independence Day breakfast, then prepare to watch the town celebrate America at the Byers Fourth of July Parade at 10 a.m., and lastly, head over to the rodeo at 4 p.m. Cap it all of with the Fourth of July fireworks show starting at 9:30 p.m. at the Quint Valley Fairgrounds.

CANON CITY — Tuesday, July 4:

A celebration in Veteran's Park begins at 4 p.m. and will culminate in fireworks on Skyline Drive at 9 p.m.

CASTLE ROCK — Tuesday, July 4:

Prepare for a firework show at the top of the butte above Red Hawk Golf Course, just south of The Meadows on the west side of Castle Rock. Onlookers should find a comfortable spot and get ready to enjoy. It can be seen just about anywhere in Castle Rock.

COLORADO SPRINGS — Tuesday, July 4:

Prepare for the Colorado Springs Philharmonic's performance in Memorial Park. The 7:30 p.m. concert is beloved in the Springs, and will be capped off by a dusk fireworks show.

COMMERCE CITY — Tuesday, July 4:

Commerce City boasts what they call the largest public fireworks display in the state, and they'll all be shot off at dusk on July 4. The show is set to blast off at 9:30 p.m., with fans of the Colorado Rapids being able to watch inside Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, or from parking lots surrounding the Rapids stadium.

CREEDE — Tuesday, July 4:

A fireworks show will cap off the night in Creede after a day of celebration. The fireworks are advertised for "Dark-Thirty" also known as dusk.

CRESTED BUTTE — Tuesday, July 4:

Described as a "funky, fun" celebration, expect a parade, music and fireworks at the Base Area of the Crested Butte Mountain Resort.

CRIPPLE CREEK — Saturday, July 1:

Can't get enough Fourth of July? Cripple Creek aims to solve that problem by kicking off a celebration of the holiday on July 1. The early celebration will be located in the Brass Ass parking lot with music throughout the afternoon and evening, and fireworks will cap the evening at 9:30 p.m.

DACONO — Saturday, July 1:

Fireworks at the racetrack will win the day in Dacono, where the Colorado Speedway is located. Saturday will feature a double header, along with 6:30 p.m. fireworks.

Sunday, July 2:

A second night of fireworks at the Colorado Speedway will kick off Sunday with fireworks again at 6:30 p.m.

Independence Eve celebrations will kick off at 8 p.m. in Civic Center Park at Broadway and Colfax. Celebrations will include a concert and stunning fireworks show thereafter.

Tuesday, July 4:

Fireworks at Elitch Gardens will shoot off at dusk on Independence Day.

ERIE — Monday, July 3:

Just a day before most celebrations kick off, the Town of Erie wil celebrate the holiday beginning at 5 p.m. There will be free music, food and fireworks at dusk at the Colorado National Golf Club in the Vista Ridge Neighborhood.

ESTES PARK — Tuesday, July 4:

Spend the afternoon in Estes Park being active and enjoying  a car show, mini golf and a patriotic concert at 7 p.m. Fireworks will kick off over Lake Estes at 9:30 p.m.

Celebrate the 4th with Fairplay from 6 to 9 p.m., featuring the southern band Richie Law. Fireworks kick off just after 9 p.m. at 4th and Front Street.

A two-day festival at Fort Carson's Iron Horse Park will cap off in fireworks on Sunday at 21:30.

FORT COLLINS — Tuesday, July 4:

A festival consisting of fireworks, a parade, a 5k, music and more will take place Tuesday in Fort Collins. See fireworks over Sheldon Lake in City Park at 9:35 p.m.

An anticipated music performance from Fort Lupton's own talented Kimi Most will highlight a day-long celebration from 7 a.m. through 7:30 p.m., with fireworks at dusk at Community Park.

Glendale's annual fireworks show will be at 9 p.m. on Saturday, three days before Independence Day, at Cherry Street and Cherry Creek Drive South.

GRAND JUNCTION — Tuesday, July 4:

Independence Day fireworks will take place after the GJ Rockies game vs. Orem on July 4. Buy a ticket and see the fireworks from inside the stadium or watch from Lincoln Park.

GRAND LAKE — Tuesday, July 4: 

Grand Lake's 4th of July Celebration will include fireworks over the lake at approximately 10 p.m.

GREELEY — Tuesday, July 4:

In its 96th year, the Greeley Stampede will feature fireworks displays over the northwest corner of Island Grove Park on July 4 at approximately 9:30 p.m. 

GREENWOOD VILLAGE — Tuesday, July 4:

Fiddler's Green will host fireworks on July 4 after a Train concert. Check here for tickets and information.

HIGHLANDS RANCH — Tuesday, July 4: 

The Highland’s Ranch July 4th Celebration returns to Highland Heritage Regional Park this year. The celebration will start at 4 p.m. with balloon twisters, face painters, games and inflatables, and live music and conclude with thefireworks show at 9:30 p.m.

HOLYOKE — Tuesday, July 4: 

The Holyoke Volunteer Fire Department Fireworks will be held at Holyoke City Park on July 4.

IDAHO SPRINGS — Tuesday, July 4:

Idaho Springs will be hosting an afternoon live music and dancing downtown in Citizens Park from 1-9 p.m. Be sure to stay for the 9 p.m. fireworks show over the Charlie Taylor Waterwheel.

INDIAN HILLS — Tuesday, July 4: 

The Fourth of July 2017 schedule of events, hosted by Indian Hills Fire Rescue, does not include fireworks.

KEYSTONE — Monday, July 3

Events start at 8 a.m. with the annual Fishing Derby in Lakeside Village, followed by children’s events throughout the day. You can book a VIP lounge spot for fireworks for $50 per person for anyone aged 13 and up. Kids 4-12 cost $20 per person. The free fireworks celebration starts at 9:30 p.m.

KIOWA — Tuesday, July 4

Fireworks will be held at the Elbert County Fairgrounds, located at 95 Ute Ave. Admission is free, though parking will be first-come, first-serve at the fairgrounds.

KREMMLING — Tuesday, July 4

Kremmling’s “Fire Up The Cliffs” event starts at 5 p.m. in Town Square, and features BBQ, baked goods, live music, and events for children. Fireworks will begin after dark.

LAFAYETTE — Tuesday, July 4

Celebrate 4th of July at Waneka Lake Park starting at 4 p.m. on Tuesday. Grab some grub from food truck vendors Abo's Pizza, Suburban Wiener, Butcher and the Blonde; beer from Odd 13 or cider and wine from Stem Ciders and Wine. There will be a bounce house and face-painting for the kids, and a live band all afternoon. Free fireworks begin at dusk.

LA JUNTA — Tuesday, July 4

Start the day with the kids at the Wet & Dry Waterslides & Bounce Castle at the First National Bank of La Junta, which runs from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The 4th of July Water Parade starts at 11 a.m. downtown, and the Old Fashioned Fourth of July runs from 1:30 – 4:15 p.m. at Bent’s Old Fort. The John Fisher Hose Fireworks Display starts at 9 p.m. at the La Junta Rodeo Grounds.

LEADVILLE — Sunday, July 2 and Tuesday, July 4

Leadville is hosting tours, gold panning, mule and burro events, a cookout and live music starting at 11 a.m. Sunday. On the Fourth, start the day with the Firecracker 5K (registration from 7:15 to 8:15 a.m.), then head over to the annual parade downtown at 10 a.m. A cookout will be held at the airport from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., then you can top your day off with fireworks at dusk, which can be seen across Leadville, with Mt. Elbert and Mt. Massive as a backdrop.

LIMON — Tuesday, July 4

Start the day with the Star Spangled Banner 5K Fun Run/Walk at Limon Town Hall, follow up with a horseshoe tournament at Railroad Park at noon, then head over to Gaskill Field at the Limon Schools buildings at 5:30 p.m. for a community BBQ (with suggested donation), hear music from the 101st Army bands, dance, eat ice cream, and get ready for the 9:45 p.m. fireworks display: “The largest show we have ever had!” the town says.

LITTLETON — Tuesday, July 4

There will be family-friendly events beginning at 3 p.m. at Cornerstone and Belleview parks. Food will be available, as well as plenty of activities for the kids. Free fireworks begin after dark at Cornerstone Park, located at 5150 S. Windermere St. in Littleton.

LONE TREE — Tuesday, July 4

Events at Sweetwater Park begin at 4 p.m., but you’ll need to buy a wristband to get in. They’re available to Lone Tree and Acres Green residents for free for up to four. Up to four additional wristbands can be bought for $5 apiece. You’ll need an ID or proof of residency to pick them up, and supplies are limited. There will be a kids bike parade, an artist corner, obstacle course, water slide and plenty of other activities, as well as live music and food. Fireworks start at 9:15 p.m.

LONGMONT — Tuesday, July 4

The free Longmont 4th of July Fireworks Display starts at 9:30 p.m. at the Boulder County Fairgrounds. The show is free, but there won’t be parking at the fairgrounds. The city advises people to park at nearby shopping centers and to walk to the fenced-in area in front of Jack Murphy or anywhere else nearby. Handicapped parking will be available at the south entrance of the fairgrounds, and KGUD 90.7 will sync their music up with the fireworks display for added effect.

LOUISVILLE — Tuesday, July 4:

The 4th of July fireworks display will be held at the Coal Creek Golf Course from 6-10 p.m. However, there's no parking at the golf course. Get shuttle and event information here.

MANITOU SPRINGS — Tuesday, July 4: 

The Manitou Springs Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a fireworks show from 9 to 10 p.m., which can be seen across Manitou and the greater Colorado Springs area.

This year's fireworks will be viewable at 8:30 p.m., or later depending on darkfall, at the Clifford E. Baldridge Regional Park complex and a number of locations along south Townsend. 

MONUMENT — Tuesday, July 4:

Live music will kick off the evening at 7 p.m. at Palmer Lake in Monument on Independence Day. Fireworks will begin at dusk.

NORTHGLENN — Tuesday, July 4: 

Celebrate America's birthday at the July 4th Festival in EB Rains Jr. Memorial Park in the City of Northglenn. Fireworks start at 9 p.m.

Watch as the fireworks light up the night sky and listen to the unique sound of the booms echoing past you down the canyon. Our favorite spot to watch is Fellin Park, but you can't really go wrong anywhere in town.

Celebrate Independence Day at the town's annual Stars and Stripes Celebration. Fireworks will be launched at 9:30 p.m. in Salisbury Park. Festivities will last from 6 to 10 p.m.

Rollin' in the Riverwalk will hold this year's 4th of July celebrations, with music and a fireworks display around 9 p.m.

This year's fireworks display will begin at dusk on Monday, July 3, and will be best seen at Centennial Park, 300 West 5th Street.

The fireworks show is scheduled for July 4 at the Simla football field at dusk.

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Tuesday, July 4: 

A fireworks show at Howelsen Hill begins around 9 p.m., but a celebration will last all day.

The annual Heritage Festival at the Overland Trail Museum kicks off at 10 a.m. and lasts all day, with lots of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Sterling’s fireworks show is separate from the Heritage Festival and takes place at Pioneer Park.

TELLURIDE — Tuesday, July 4: 

Kick off the 4th of July with some exercise by participating in the Telluride Foundation’s Rundola. Then, at 11 a.m., take in the parade on Main Street and the barbecue in Town Park after that. Fireworks will launch over Town Park after dark, weather permitting.

Thornton’s 4th of July celebration at Centennial Park Fields includes a beer garden, food vendors and a battle of the bands. After dark, parachutists kick off the fireworks show.

Independence Day in Vail kicks off with a parade at 10 a.m. The parade route starts at Golden Peak and winds its way to Lionshead. Fireworks synchronized to music start at dusk at Golden Peak.

Wellington’s 4th of July celebration includes a pancake breakfast at the Filling Station, music, and ice cream social and more. Fireworks will start at dusk near Wellington Middle School.

Start your Independence Day with a pancake breakfast at the depot on Main Street, then take in the parade starting at 10 a.m. Fireworks start at approximately 9 p.m. at Lake Deweese.

The all-day July 4th Celebration at Westminster City Park kicks off with the fire department fishing derby at 8 a.m. Fireworks are scheduled for 9:15 p.m. Parking is limited but shuttles will be available.
