Police were investigating whether drugs or alcohol were involved in a serious crash that closed down Federal Boulevard between West 18th and 17th Avenues early Saturday.
Two vehicles collided around 6:30 a.m. according to a Denver Police Department dispatcher.
Two people were taken to a hospital with serious injuries, according to a department tweet.
Police told Denver7 reporter Kyle Horan that the driver of the Mercury Mountaineer would be charged with DUI.
