DENVER -- Police rushed Friday afternoon to Denver Public Schools' Evie Dennis Campus after a report of an active shooter. The report was later determined to be unfounded.
LOCKDOWN: The Evie Dennis Campus is on a lockdown for a reported threat. @DenverPolice & DPS Safety are on the scene.

Denver Public Schools put the Green Valley Ranch campus on lockdown while police investigated. The lockdown was lifted about 15 minutes later. Police did not say how the threat was made.
LOCKDOWN Update: The Evie Dennis Campus has been released and is back to to normal operations. Students and staff are safe.

The Evie Dennis Campus has 1600 students on it at any given time between all of their elementary through high school programs.
