Evacuations after propane truck crash

Three families have been evacuated after a propane truck carrying 3,500 gallons of propane overturned in Downieville.

Downieville is in Clear Creek County, next to Interstate 70, between Idaho Springs and Georgetown.

Dispatchers told Denver7 the American Gas truck overturned on Sunny Skies Trail. There are six homes in the area and three have been evacuated.

Officials say crews are still trying to figure out how to clean up the crash. 

There are no report of injuries and there is no impact to I-70.
