LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. — Authorities have lifted evacuation orders for a 14.6-acre fire that's burning near Estes Park on Soul Shine Road in Larimer County.

Officials originally estimated the fire at 23 acres on Monday, but reduced that to 13 acres Tuesday morning after better mapping. The fire did not grow overnight, and was measured at 14.6 acres Tuesday evening.

The Larimer County Sheriff's Office issued evacuation notices to residents off Soul Shine Road around 4 p.m. People on the north end of the road were ordered to evacuate immediately, the sheriff's office said. Voluntary evacuation notices were issued to residents on Soul Shine Road east to Brown Trout Lane on the south side of Highway 34.

Evacuation notices have since been lifted.

The fire is burning east of Estes Park on Soul Shine Road south of Highway 34. As of Tuesday, it is 75% contained, according to officials. Crews from the Estes Valley Fire Protection District are responding.

This is a developing story. Additional information will be added when more details are released.
