1. Child abuse suspect in court
A man who's accused of brutally attacking his girlfriend's 2-year-old daughter is scheduled to appear in court today. Joshua James Gonzales, 21, turned himself in Sunday.
2. More protests in St. Louis
More than 80 people were arrested after a third night of protests in St. Louis. Protesters are upset about the acquittal of a police officer who shot and killed a black man in 2011.
3. President Trump at United Nations
The president will meet with leaders from around the world this week at the United Nations. He's set to address the General Assembly on Tuesday.
4. Primetime Emmy Awards
The 69th annual Primetime Emmys took place last night. The Hulu show 'The Handmaid's Tale' won the final award of the night for outstanding drama series. 'Veep' won again for outstanding comedy series. See the other winners here.
